Okay, right off the bat I will warn you, this is a B-movie; but a B-movie in the best Caddyshack/Porky’s type of way.

The plot revolves the closing of a local hangout called “Tubbies” by an anal retentive Beverly Hills community group in 1965.  This is the hangout of a 50′s style car club called the “Hollywood Knights” and they aim for Tubbies last night to be memorable.

The really interesting thing about this movie is that it starred Tony Danza and Michelle Pfeiffer, in what may be their first big screen performances, but their characters are actually involved in the sub-plot.  The real stars are Robert Wuhl and Fran Drescher in what is probably their first big screen appearances.

The movie is a bit uneven, but it has enough laugh out loud scenes that it makes up for that. Just in case though, you might want to throw back a forty of malt liquor or smoke a blunt before you watch it.
